A year after leaving Tahiti to take part in the TUIA 250 event all around Aorearoa, we meet our waka Fa’afaite again with a tremendous emotion. It is the end of a journey which took her to more than fifteen places, meeting thousands of people, with a spirit of peace, of unity and to commemorate our age-old ties. We wish to thank from deep in our hearts the People of Aotearoa for their warm welcome, the Ministry of Culture and Heritage for their stong support and the…whole of the big waka family for their unconditional assistance. We are delighted to reconnect with our waka enriched with that experience on Maori Land to begin a new chapter of Fa’afaite’s history. Māuruuru Fa’afaite for carrying deep in your womb Taumata Fee Faatupu Hau's message, for sharing it and for making everyone’s heart beat as one. <3
